REBarCamp Video: La importancia de Flickr para los profesionales de bienes raíces

La semana pasada asistí a REBarCamp, un encuentro específicamente dirigido a sector de los bienes raíces y la tecnologia. No sabía que esperar del evento, pero resultó ser una magnifica experiencia. Andy Kaufman, Todd Carpenter y Brad Coy fueron sobresalientes y realizaron una excelente labor en la organización de todo. El flujo libre de las ideas y las discusiones llenas de participación hicieron del evento algo enriquecedor. Algunos de los bloggers más reconocidos del sector inmobiliario como Teresa Boardman, Jeff Turner, Todd Carpenter, Daniel Rothamel, Dustin Luther, Joel Burslem y Jay Thompson estuvieron presentes.

la primera sesión a la que asistí trataba sobre la importancia de ser social en el mundo online. Los lideres de la sesión resumieron cómo hablando de 4 de las más importantes redes sociales: LinkedIn, Facebook, Flickr y otra que para ser sincero no he podido recordar (Si tu lo recuerdas hazmelo saber en los comentarios de esta entrada). Aún no he empezado a utilizar Flickr, pero despues de haber estado en esta sesión, sin duda voy a tener que abrir una cuenta. Los lideres de la sesión fueron muy enfaticos en la importancia de ser social en el mundo online, pero no hacerlo diciendo que eres el mejor agente de bienes raíces. Este es un breve clip donde Jeff turner de Real Estate Shows y Teresa Boardman de St Paul Real Estate Blog hablan acerca de como ellos usan Flickr para llegar a la gente en la comunidad.

Last week I attended REBarCamp, an adhoc gathering about real estate and technology. As my first BarCamp I didn’t know what to expect, but I have to say that it was awesome. Andy Kaufman, Todd Carpenter and Brad Coy really stepped up big time and did an excellent job organizing everything. The free flowing of ideas and the spirited discussions really enriched the conversation. Some of the real estate blogging celebrities like Teresa Boardman, Jeff Turner, Todd Carpenter, Daniel Rothamel, Dustin Luther, Joel Burslem and Jay Thompson were all there among others.

The first session I went to was about being social on the Web. The leaders of the session narrowed it down to 4 main online social networking tools: LinkedIn, Facebook, Flickr and one other that I can’t remember (please add this to the comments below if you remember). I have not started using Flickr yet, but after the session I am going to have to open an account. The session leaders really emphasized the importance of getting social online, not announcing that you are the best Realtor. Here is a short clip where Jeff Turner from Real Estate Shows and Teresa Boardman from St Paul Real Estate Blog talk about how they use Flickr to engage people in the community.
